Advanced Features, Powerful V6 and Nine-Speed Auto for New-Look Nissan Pathfinder

All-New Nissan Pathfinder

MELBOURNE, Australia (May 17th, 2022) – The Pathfinder, Nissan’s versatile large family champion, has been comprehensively redesigned for 2022, with a dramatic new exterior design, significant additional safety features and a new nine-speed automatic transmission complete with wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

The new gearbox pairs perfectly with Nissan’s potent V6 petrol engine (202kW and 340Nm), allowing for effortless acceleration and easy overtaking. Towing of braked trailers up to 2700kg is made safer and easier with specific tow mode and onboard trailer-stability program.

The new-generation Pathfinder has a strong, muscular appearance, shorter front overhang, slimmer pillars, C-shaped LED headlights and a “floating” roofline, which allows the use of two-tone paint for the first time on this model.

“The all-new Pathfinder has been reinvented from the ground up, improving the family friendly formula right across the board,” says Adam Paterson, Managing Director Nissan Australia.
“From its advanced safety and technology features to its go-anywhere capability, the new Pathfinder is every bit as ready for adventure as you are.”

Nissan’s advanced Pro-PILOT semi-autonomous driving system also makes its debut on Pathfinder as a standard inclusion on the ST+ model upwards.

A huge 10.8-inch Head Up Display (HUD) is introduced as standard across all models, projecting key information, including turn-by-turn satellite navigation, as a key aid to keep the driver focused on the road ahead.

An upgrade to the infotainment system also spans all models, with integrated wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, and DAB+ digital radio, four USB charging points are standard, as are two 12-volt outlets.

Cabin comfort is assured through tri-zone climate control with air vents all the way through to the rear row of seats, and rear sun shades on ST-L upwards to cut heat and glare.

The MY22 Nissan Pathfinder will be offered in four model grades:

This value-packed model delivers a comprehensive safety package from the standard Nissan Intelligent Mobility Suite, a rearview camera with parking sensors, a 9.0-inch touchscreen, 10.8-inch Head Up Display, 7.0-inch TFT Advanced Drive-Assist instrument cluster display, sat-nav, LED dusk-sensing headlights with high-beam assist, 18-inch alloys, eight-way powered driver’s seat with lumbar control, EZ Flex latch-and-glide seating adjustment, and much more

The ST+ builds on the ST’s comprehensive safety offering with a Pro-PILOT semi-autonomous driving system with Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Jam Pilot, Around View monitor with moving-object detection.  Roof rails, LED fog lights and a powered tailgate also feature on the extensive standard equipment list.

The ST-L introduces a truly premium cabin experience, with leather-accented interior trim* with rear-seat heaters, wireless phone charging, a 12-speaker BOSE audio system and more.

The Ti flagship introduces wrap-around cabin ambient lighting, panoramic glass sunroof, 20-inch alloys, underbody protection, the option of captain’s chairs in the second row (reverting seating capacity to seven), ventilated front seats, “smart” rearview mirror with switchable digital imagery, and more.

* Leather-accented features and upholstery may contain synthetic material.
